“Horizon Style” is the creative combination of wisdom gained from well-known designers and the unparalleled proficiency of Horizon’s in-house naval architects design team. Horizon‘s design team works closely with clients to provide thoughtful design advice, fulfill lifestyle requirements, and ensure the reliability, safety and performance of every new Horizon motoryacht.
The Horizon design team also utilizes the most advanced programs, including the 3D CAD visualization and virtual reality for yacht design. With 3D CAD visualization, computer-simulated design concepts can be reviewed for visual appearance and examined for possible flaws and workability. Furthermore, 3D visualization improves overall understanding and communication between designers, shipyards and clients to ensure the client’s dreams become reality.
Exterior Design
Horizon partners with American, European and other experienced designers and naval architects to create a range of yachts with style and sophistication. Horizon has expanded its fleet to consist of 7 model series -- E Series; EP Series; P Series; PC Series; RP Series; V Series and FD Series -- which are differentiated by their distinctive styles and features. Horizon strives to grow each model series by continuing to develop innovative and unique yachts that satisfy a variety of lifestyles.

Donald L. Blount
Donald L. Blount and Associates (DLBA), is an internationally recognized naval architecture, marine engineering, and yacht design firm based in Virginia. Since 1988, this U.S. firm has specialized in design, structure calculations and stability evaluation of motoryachts and various commercial vessels. To optimize passenger comfort aboard a high-speed hull, Horizon collaborated with DLBA in designing an innovative double-chine hull in the Horizon RP110 model.
Greg Marshall
Canadian-born Gregory C. Marshall is an experienced and respected naval architect in the motor yacht industry. His design firm, Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects (GCMNA), has been involved in various successful large yacht projects around the world since its establishment. In 2006, the recruitment of a new partner, Gordon Galbraith, helped elevate GCMNA to its current success. Associated with the design of the successful Horizon V Series, GCMNA has become an important part of Horizon Group’s powerful formula for building the ultimate in world-class motoryachts.
J.C. Espinosa
Juan Carlos Espinosa is a licensed and registered architect in Florida and Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Architecture and Planning degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1985. Ever since, J.C., as he is known in the industry, has dedicated his talent exclusively to exterior and interior styling of custom yachts and series production boats. His firm's design work is published regularly by the most prominent publications in the field. Horizon’s custom megayacht P130 model is designed by J.C. Espinosa.
John Lindblom
John Lindblom’s designs for Horizon’s E series are the signature for the marquee and have been a continued success for many years. John started designing boats in his father’s office at the age of 15 and founded his own design office in 1987. He is a well-known naval architect in Scandinavia and specializes in fast powerboats and yacht design. His original transom design, which was nicknamed the “Lindblohm transom,” is still popular 20 years later on Horizon yachts.
Mark Ellis
Mark Ellis has been in the marine industry for over 35 years and involved in various design projects for commercial vessels. In 1987, Mark established Mark Ellis Marine Design (MEMD), which provides design, naval architecture and engineering services primarily to Australian and Asian shipyards for both monohull and catamaran hull forms. The AC80 is the first composite production luxury catamaran collaboration between Mark and Horizon.
Angelo Lavranos
Angelo Lavranos produced many successful racing boats including IOR champions, IMS cruiser-racers, a full range of innovative cruisers in all materials, and superyachts up to 40m LOA from 1975. Since 1996, he has been producing a range of power catamarans, sailing catamarans, passenger ferries, hydrographic survey and charter fishing cats, and was responsible for the hull design, naval architecture and hull structure of Horizon PC58.
Cor D. Rover Design
Cor D. Rover Design has a background in Naval Architecture and Mechanical Engineering, and specializes in the aesthetic exterior design, space planning / optimisation and interior layout designs of motor yachts currently ranging from 12 to 120 meters, Cor D. Rover has been involved in more than 50 motor yacht projects, and has worked with Horizon on numerous type of yachts exterior.

Horizon understands that a stylish and comfortable living space are major elements of a quality yacht, which is why we are invested in every detail of our customer’s yachts. Horizon collaborates with industry-recognized interior designers dedicated to creating customized interior spaces, and clients are always welcome to share their personal design styles as well as request special arrangements to suit their own lifestyle needs.

Tommaso Spadolini
Renowned Italian naval architect Tommaso Spadolini works closely with Horizon as well as with other leading architects around the globe for various successful projects. As a master of interior yacht design, Tommaso has worked with Horizon on numerous yachts featuring an Italian interior style.
Sylvia Bolton Design
Sylvia Bolton Design is an international design firm headquartered in Seattle, Washington. They design yacht interiors for clients and World Class Boat Builders throughout North America, Europe and Asia. They are appropriately located on Salmon Bay, home to many yachting services.
Guido de Groot Design
Guido de Groot’s Design not only works on yacht interiors, but many of the projects combine interior and exterior design. The sizes and types of yacht also range from a 20 meter sail boat through to a 65 meter exploration luxury yacht, and including fast motor cruisers and more sedate displacement yachts. Guido de Groot has worked with Horizon on numerous yachts.
David Buffery (Sketch Company)
Sketch Company was formed with the sole intention of servicing high-end projects of particular interest, diversity and especially in terms of location and subject. David Buffery, creative director in Sketch, has been worked with Horizon with the interior design of many yacht models.
Tia Simo (BYD Group)
BYD Group produces general interior layouts, agenerally in 2D, to further optimize the avaiable spaces in 3D, with the rest of the yacht components. Together with the client BYD Group can develop any kind of interior styling from preliminary color concept illustrations in the earlier stages to well detailed 3D model to produce construction drawings.
Uchiyama Design, Inc.
Uchiyama Design, Inc., is the International Yacht Design firm in Japan, which is specialized in the interior architect of bespoke Motor Yacht design using the special knowledge of boat interior construction based upon the understanding of the complex of Mega Yacht construction. Uchiyama Design has been work with Horizon for many yachts interior design, and provides the best service for Horizon owners with HORIZON Yacht quality.
TWA DESIGN
Mr. Hus and Mr. Li, the creative directors of the TWA Design, are specialized in listening the customer demands to integrate the esthetics and the rational construction concept. With the conformity construction, indoor, equipments, furniture to innovate manner of creation, the unique design atmosphere and esthetics savors provides the owners of Horizon a limitless interior design imagination beyond the traditional style.
Luca Dini Design
Luca Dini of Luca Dini Design, based out of Florence, Italy, is well-known for his extensive interior design and naval architecture expertise within the yachting industry. Dini has collaborated with Horizon Yachts on several yacht projects over 100 feet – his clean exterior style lines and fresh, contemporary interior ideas bring a taste of modern luxury to every Horizon yacht he touche
